Hello my name is Robert. Still 2 years later im having a tough time coming back from Katrina. I lost everything I had in Katrina and like many of you the insurance didn't want to pay for anything. I've since relocated to Raleigh, NC and have had a few good opportunities for employment, only to be turned away because of not having a car to do what is requierd for that job. Unfortunately with the losses from Katrina my credit remains damaged and I just don't have the extra money to afford the down payment required due to my low credit score. I am writing this in hope that someone will be able to donate a vehicle or can provide me with the financial assistance I need to get a car so I may have the chance to rebuild my life and move on. It's hard to let go of the past when the past won't let go of you.
